TAMPA - F.A.I.R., the Family Abilities Information Rally, took place last month at The Academies, a charter school for students with learning and learning related disabilities.
The F.A.I.R. featured more than 50 vendors who provided resources, services and products to the public, and created disability awareness.
Judge Judy Sexton, Gerald Hemness of the law firm Emma Hemness, and Julianne Holt, public defender of Hillsborough County, 13th Judicial Circuit, showed up to support the school and the F.A.I.R.
Amerigroup brought Spider-Man and their recreational vehicle and offered free cholesterol screenings; and Blaze sports provided wheelchair basketball so children could experience life as active disabled individuals.
