DOWNTOWN - Six Jefferson High School graduates were inducted Nov. 7 into the alumni association's Hall of Fame at a ceremony at TECO Plaza.
Inducted were: Daniel Bonilla, Jefferson principal; Louis Monteleone, oral surgeon; Richard Muga, lawyer; Osceola Fernandez Rodriguez, flower show judge and garden club member; and Philip Rosseter, artist and adviser and coordinator for alumni association publications.
Michael Menendez, former alumni association president, was inducted posthumously. He spent 41 years as a teacher and school administrator and 26 years moonlighting as the public address voice for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Wynelle Gilbert, a member of the committee to promote the preservation of the old Jefferson building, was awarded a distinguished service award.
The Hall of Fame has 55 active inductees and 10 posthumous inductees.
